There was some tropo across the North Sea providing contacts up to 800-1200 km. In the afternoon there was some aurora too and it is proven to work some mixed tropo-aurora across the North Sea with beamheading more north than usual for G-stations to work OH. The signals were not that loud, but enough to make a QSO. Unfortunately some tests with OY9JD on 23cm failed, we heard each other but did not get the QSO complete. GM4ODA/P produced also no signal here on 23cm and 3cm. So it was nice to work theese guys again and GM4ODA/P giving me a new Square on 70cm !! |
