First Es opening this year. Es is quite rare this year.

Not a single signal heard on 144.300 SSB or 145.500 FM (I monitor both alongside FT8).

Annoying is that with each Es Opening a discussion is started on the ON4KST chat by some people who try to explain that an FT8 QSO is *not* real QSO. I would like to see the energy that these people put in trying to spoil the fun of others in working Es/FT8, being put in calling CQ on 144.300 SSB or 144.050 CW. Anyway I rather work Es FT8 than listening to the eternal noise fields on 144.300....
