Very strong spread spectrum transmition coming from Middle East covering entire 144.1 MHz band (radar? QTH?) all opening time long (15:00-16:05 Z). The stations worked had very strong signals so it was possible to copy them in the strong QRM from the radar source. I copied the stations till 16:05Z and also I tried to assist them to work some EA5s they were calling for a very long tropo+Es skip. I didn't transmit at times to allow low signals' copy as I imagine they were coping me with the same strong signal I was coping them (59+++ at times). I also QSYed to 144.300 but no luck, nobody was there :(. Nice to work 4X4DK! I needed him on 144 MHz! This old timer is in my log (personal and contest callsigns) since past century and on all bands starting 160 meters and I am honoured to be in his log as well. I hope to work him again on all bands and for many years in the future till his 100th birtday! 73 de Fabio, IT9GSF.

I heard and called YO7FWL, but we did not complete. Signals were not strong. The opening lasted perhaps 5 minutes, no more.
