The band opened slowly, with signals up and down, and the propagation was very selective as usual for Es. At times signals were very good, with SM5KQS being the strongest and most stable for at least 30 minutes. The band was quiet for about 20 minutes before another short opening to SM3BEI. Please see http://ei3kd.73tu.com for my blog with audios, etc. |

Rig: 144 Mhz - Kenwood TS2000e or Yaesu FT897d Beko HLV1000 SSPA 400w at antenna - LNA (SP2000) - 9el LY (5 degree elevation) Log: 11:35 SM3BEI JP81NG 59 heard only Comment: Unfortunately made a dentist's appointment at exactly the time 2m opened. When I returned home (at breakneck speed) the band had almost closed. Heard and called Len - He replied but then faded before we could complete a QSO. I seem to be in my unlucky phase at the moment - now missed 3 openings Never mind - there's always next year. 73 Lyn GW8JLY |
