With the day before in mind when 50 MHz was wide open and a nice opening on 144 MHz expectations were high as an early opening occured in the morning. However this opening was the only one and many missed it as it was quite early.

I was CQ'ing via the moon, when I suddenly saw LiveMUF indicating that 2m was open. My first 2011 Es was a fact. Annoying is that there was also quite some activity in FM (145. - 145.575), but only local QSO's.
