Several stations were 59+40 so I keep an ear on 2m band, and a few minutes later, BANG! Wow, what an opening! By far the best I ever work into UK and Ireland. Despite many duplicate QSO (as many as 4), I got one new DXCC (GI, pity I lost the GU on the QRM) and 6 new grid. Thanks all for the wonderfull afternoon! CU next es 73 F.Costa, CT1EAT |

Heard breif bursts of CT1ANO & others, but not ideally placed for main opening. 73 Bob |

I was updating the operating system on my shack computer when I heard stations in England 'working' people giving only their own callsign! It was some time before I found a strong signal from CT1EAT while beaming towards central Europe, and was able to join-in the fun. The period 18:40 to 19:25 had only short bursts of propagation. I had some incomplete QSOs into Iberia. At 1925, I heard CU2VHF and on turning the antenna towards the Azores, the signal came up to 599. The signal was there at levels of between about -150 and -115dBm at the input of my receiver for around 30min. I then monitored 144.285 for WA1ZMS/B for a few hours with no result |

Heard many other EA7 and CT stations (in IM66,IM87,IM59,IN50 and IN51)but most signals not too strong and it was impossible to break the pile ups. no CN, CT3 or EA8 heard either. Perhaps better luck next time. 73 Lyn Gw8JLY |
