23. June 2015
The Geomagnetic storm that started the Aurora en Aurora E last night, continued this morning. As the Bz had turned south in the course of past night, conditions had turned to normal aurora again. A nice surprise to wake up and hear various stations with 59A!
Meanwhile the M6.5 Eruption of last night did indeed produce another full halo CME, which has a near 100% chance to hit Earth.
As we know now (June 27th) this event triggerd no Aurora as it turned out to be located to much to the west and it did not reach earth. Solarwinds did reach 800 km/sec but was related to an interplanetary shockwave.
